The customer service agent we spoke with prior to leaving the country for 11 months failed to warn us about the .25/MB charge for data when he suggested we use international roaming.

A customer service agent recommended we switch our account to international roaming without telling us that the roaming charge for data is .25/MB. In the 5 days we were on roaming, the bill for the data was $300.38. We called to see if we could get some relief and were told there was nothing that could be done. We've been a customer for over 15 years and this is how we're treated? Goodbye Consumer Cellular! User's recommendation: Find a provider that values your business and has better customer service.
