The bank, refused to count coins.

2

I had a few bucks in change, (less than $10), and decided to take it to my bank and trade it in for paper money. (Picture included). I was totally surprised when the branch manager said, he could not accept the coin, because he didn't have a machine to count it. I have done this before at times, but this is the 1st time I had a response like that. My question is, why is someone working as a teller in a bank, if they can't count a few dollars in change, without a counting machine? I have had my account for well over 30 years, but am seriously considering moving to bank that is staffed with people that can count money.
