Terrible Service at your Inverness Location…

I visited the 280 location today. Let me start by saying I ordered our pizza at 11:45am, it was not ready until 1:10 pm. I was on my lunch break at work and ran over my lunch and was late returning to work due to Mellow Mushrooms inefficiency. The staff was unapologetic about my wait. I wanted to complain to management about the delay while I was there waiting, but I was quite confused on who was in fact management or in charge, as they all looked like teenagers were signing, playing and laughing and seemed like they were just there to “have a good time.” Then it came time to pay the bill. The amount seemed a little high when I was rung up, but as I said, I was already running late to get back to work so I quickly payed for my food then returned to work. When I got back and looked at my itemized receipt, I noticed I was charged $4 for Avocado being added to my pizza!! I immediately picked up the phone and called, and asked for a manager, I spoke with a young woman named Chelsea. Chelsea was once again, unapologetic about my wait and my experience. Instead she was very matter of fact about it. When I asked her about the pricing of avocado she said those prices are set by corporate and she suggest if I don’t like it, you can take it up with corporate. I said, “you realize Chelsea I could go to Walmart and purchase 4 whole avocados for $4, can you see my frustration for being charged $4 for not even a whole one to be added to my pizza? Would you have paid that?” To which she responded, “ I personally don’t like avocados and don’t eat them, so no I wouldn’t have paid that Bc I wouldn’t have added avocados to my pizza.” Looks to me like Chelsea is in the right profession, if she aspires to be anything other than a manager of a pizza place, she needs to work on her communication and customer service skills. All and all my experience was horrible to say the least and I will not ever be returning to Mellow Mushroom in the future.
