At first he really liked it then after a month or two started getting hives horrible itching, horrible hair loss, just plain miserable. After a trip to the doctor and an injection and switching back to science diet i have my healthy dog back. Took weeks for his coat to come back. Hes 15 and I'm afraid I would have lost him had I continued on that course. My daughters 5 yr.old chihuahua also was extremely itchy and I convinced her to switch to science diet and after one week her itching has subsided and also new hair is growing back. I really don't recommend Freshpet at all. User's recommendation: Don't buy Freshpet.
