I hired Stephens Door to repair my malfunctioning garage door a few months ago. The door was not staying shut when i closed it. They fixed the problem temporarily, but now the door is opening on its own again. They offered a 12-month warranty which they now refuse to honor. My garage door is broken again. It will not stay shut when I close it. It rolls back up and is a security risk. Stephens never fixed the problem. I called to request a service tech fix the problem for good, but they said they would have to charge me again. Their motto is: "Fixed Right the First Time." What a joke!!!! Beware of this scam. If you live in southern Illinois and are having problems with your garage door/opener, DO NOT CALL Stephens.
