Tentative right now

Please help. Just got the BT-BH011 headphones for my wife for Christmas. In trying them out I followed the BT clearing function by pressing and holding both the power and volume buttons. The headphones disconnected but the purple light is on and now I can't power the headphones off. What do I do?
