TDS broke our HDMI on the TV when they shouldn’t have touched the TV we only ordered internet. Then Ronald Troyers was extremely rude & refused to give me his managers info. Then hung up on me!

New Durham, New Hampshire Telecommunications Original review posted by user May 08, 2019 We are new to the area and there are only two internet companies to choose from. We choose TDS. The first installer came out last night to run the lines. He was pleasant and professional. The second and final installation rep came out today and destroyed the HDMI port to our 62 inch TV. When my spouse reported this issue a manager Ronald Troyer (New Hampshire service manager) called me back. I explained to him the situation and forwarded the picture of the destroyed port. He was rude and unprofessional from the start. He said out 1 yr old daughter probably did it and said sales would call to give us a credit anyway. I explained we didn't need the credit. What we needed was the TV returned to the condition it was in last night. He became very combative over the phone. I asked if i could have a phone number or email to his supervisor and his response was "NO". I said are you refusing to give me your manager or supervisors contact information. Hes reply was "I sure am refusing and hung up the phone". So now we have a 62 in TV with a HMDI port that has been completely ripped out. Plus, we didn't even order cable!! We were supposed to have internet and phone. I just spoke to another rep who is contacting her manager to get the name of Ronald Troyers manager. I am not hopeful anyone will contact me. THIS IS DAY ONE OF SERVICE AND I ALREADY WANT TO CANCEL!! SAVE YOURSELF SOME PAIN AND GO WITH ANY OTHER COMPANY IN THE WORLD BEFORE YOU GO TO TDS!!
