T6 mic does not work – wired or wireless

I purchased T6 headphones via amazon.ca on May 13, 2019 and Bluedio Type-C Audio Cable to 3.5 mm with Mic on May 14, 2019 . It appears that the headphones’s mic does not work in either wired or wireless mode.
