Switched an internet deal for a Nissan
1
I'm from Iowa and bought a new car from them over the internet (it had a special interior I wanted). I paid cash for it and sent them the check for it. Before I picked it up I showed them that they had made a mistake and charged me 500 dollars more than we agreed for it. They agreed and said they would settle it up doing the paper work just send the check to hold it. The paper work was all messed up (no refund) and not done when I picked it up. They promised to send me a check for the balance. After I left they stopped answering texts and the salesman actually blocked my messages. Stupid Kentucky has a very high doc. fee and they messed up the title paper work so bad that my state would not accept it. They took another month to get another complete title from Nissan. They scammed for sure. Never again. User's recommendation: Get everything in writing and never let them tell you "we will just settle up later".
