Suspicion of mot and service

job number 129/900**** . I had a service and mot booked in at your Doncaster garage on the 29/06/20, at a cost of £214.99 . I took the car in for 08.30 as booked . I left the car at 09.45 and was told it would be ready at 12.30 -13.00hrs . I was also told there was a mot before me ,so I decided to walk into town I was in town not very long when your Halfords manager phoned me and told me my car was ready. I received the call at 10.20am which I thought was rather quick. I have since drove 1746 miles and my service light has come on stating I need a oil change . Now this is strange to me because I have been informed the sensor on the car is set to go off around 1200 miles when service is needed , this coincides with the previous year was 12000 to this date when my service was done in 2019. I am very confused and believe the service has not been done . It takes a good hour to do a mot and the manager states there was one in front of me to mot first. But yet they managed to do my full service and mot in just 90 minutes . And only if they took my car in straight away which i was out side for 10 minutes and they had one in front of me . Could you please give me a full explanation on the length of time a mot takes and service takes ,and a explanation why my sensor was not activated to allow me to drive another 12000 miles before oil change and why it would activate at 1746 miles only 2 months later especially when the 1746 miles by coincident adds up to 12000miles since the service in July 2019. Looking forward to your immediate response to this matter and your answer to these questions before i decide the next course of action.
