Supposidly 3 months behind

After having my loan transferred to SPS from another bank they stated that while under the previous lender, I missed 3 payments. I have called and they claim everything is ok although my monthly statement states I'm 3 months behind. They are not helpful and my letters to them have gone nowhere. This month I doubled my payment because this looks bad on my credit.
