How in the world does this company stay in business? Their billing is ALWAYS wrong, They provide NONE of the services required to their equipment. They charge the insurance companies and the patients so much the machines are paid for in months, yet they continue to get paid by the insurance and the consumer. Example: Our oxygen concentrator (I will leave the brand name out) was paid for in four months of billing. after THREE YEARS of billing, the insurance company "purchased" the equipment for us. They were charged the full amount for a brand new, zero hour machine! I know, because we saved up to buy our own when we could not get service from Apria on the machine. TWO YEARS AND NO SERVICE! THE MACHINE HAD BIOLOGICAL GROWTH ALL OVER IT! PERFECT FOR AN OXYGEN PATIENT! The most disconcerting thing to me is they are the PREFERRED VENDOR for a number of insurance companies??? They don't care. Another poster on this site pointed out that ALL of their customers are SICK. Do we really need the additional stress of their incompetence and near zero customer service? YES, because the insurance company requires we use them. I also could write a book detailing their incompetence, their ineptitude, their condescending attitudes when you call back enough times to get a representative that has a moderate comprehension of the English language, (their lack of English speaking representatives), their unavailability and intolerable wait times when you do take the HOURS that it takes to even get a person on the phone. Their inattention to detail when it comes to the required documentation and paperwork that THEY require, and that they receive from medical professionals, their billing practices and their collections calls for bills that have already been paid...and on and on and on. BOTTOM LINE AS OTHERS HAVE STATED, BOTH PATIENTS AND THEIR OWN EMPLOYEES. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU HAVE TO!! EVEN THEN MAKE SURE YOU HAVE NO OTHER ALTERNATIVES.
