Sucks but what choice do we have?

I set up auto pay and it was not completed so my bill was never paid, my fault I know, but what *** me off is that after I paid my complete bill I asked if they could reconnect it soon because the weather was 20 degrees outside and I have small children and a newborn but was told it wouldnt be until Monday probably Tuesday. I understand this was all my fault HOWEVER I was told NO TECHNICIAN is in my area and Im looking at one in my alley RIGHT NOW. I went out to beg this man and he told me with a smug smile, that he could turn it on but nope, pay your bill next time. This company knows we dont have a choice in picking another company because there is no other gas company and they just like to see people struggle. I hope this man has a daughter one day who goes through this just like I am right now and I hope she gets an *** technician like him.
