STOP HARASSING PEOPLE!!!!!!

1

harFunny story, not really, which starts about 2 years ago. I started receiving letters in the mail with nothing else on the front except the words, FINAL NOTICE! Now when the average person sees something like this show up in your mail all kinds of thoughts go through your head. Is this the IRS? Maybe a bill I missed! Then you open it up to find that someone is trying to sell you a car warranty service. With this, I got a little annoyed and threw the letter away. But wait, this adventure doesnt stop there! A month, later lo and behold another letter in the mail that states, FINAL NOTICE! Again, automatic reaction is, this could be the IRS! Maybe a bill I missed! Then you open it up to find a nice pile of garbage about a car warranty. Then after about 5 or 6 of these I end up calling the number to try and stop the mail. That was a huge mistake because then I started receiving phone calls about my FINAL NOTICE! At that point you start getting frustrated due to the constant additional garbage in your mail and more phone calls, even though you are on the federal do not call list. Over the last two years when talking with these *** over the phone it has been extremely hard trying to find out who and where they are located, because by the time I actually get a hold of someone that I could talk to and ask these questions they would just hang up on me. Every time I would get a call, I would tell them to put me on the do not call list but the personnel I was able to talk with would hang up on me. So, all I had in hand at that time was a couple phone numbers that were calling and harassing me and no other information like business name or location to report to the FCC. Now, when you finally get to talk to someone and tell these guys over the phone to take you off the calling list you would think that would stop the calls right? *** no. I still got the letters and still got the random phone calls. I run a small business and I need to be picking up my phone for current and potential customers. It has become a waste of time and money for me to continue to get these letters and phone calls. Anyway, as I digress. I started blocking the 800 numbers that were calling me and do you think that stopped them from calling me? *** no, these guys are professional *** They then started calling me from my local area code so I couldnt tell if it was an *** hole or a customer. I knew no matter what I was going to continue to get these phone calls and letters, so I dealt with it. Then finally, 2 days ago, I received a phone call as I was driving into work! Guess who it was, go on, guess. The warranty *** were back! WOO HOO! I was listening to the recording and you know how it goes. You have the option to talk to someone or get put on the, DO NOT CALL LIST. Which as you know, doesnt work. I chose to talk with someone, again. I got a nice guy on the phone who seemed very excited to talk to me. He asked if I had received a letter in mail, I then muted my phone screamed out loud and threw up in my mouth a little bit. I told him, Yes, I received your letter. I then asked him, I have 3 cars and was wondering which vehicle was the letter was referring to. His crafty response was, the oldest one. Ya, you know he didnt know which vehicle. So I told him I had a 2017 Q7 that needs a warranty on it. He walked me through the scram they offer and started asking me a few questions. Does my vehicle have any issues? Now, I know they are liars so I fibbed a bit of course also. I told him my vehicle is leaking oil all over the place and the check engine light is on but I have no idea what it is on for. After giving him this information I was waiting for him to tell me previous issues wouldnt be covered. He never said it! He stated that everything would be fine and if I pay over the phone now everything would work out. He threw a number at me, $3800 for 4 years. I said that for $3200 I could get an extended warranty at the dealership and if he could go any lower, I may consider it. He then passed me on to what he called some type of financial specialist. A young lady got on the phone and she stated she could go as low at $3079. WOW! What a deal! She said that she was standing by for my credit card information to begin this amazing warranty that was going to fix my already screwed up car. Wait, pause, what did she just say? Lets slow down and go over this real quick. So this random person on the phone wants my credit card information and I have no idea who, where or what they are. I told her there is no way I am giving her my credit card information over the phone to some random person and or business that I have no information about. I said I am going to need an invoice sent to my email so I can verify your information and business. She wouldnt do it! She kept saying, its ok, the service will start instantly if you pay now over the phone. What the *** does that statement have to do with proving you are a legitimate business? I asked her how are they still in business? Do people actually pay for this crap over the phone without any information or proof of who they are? I figured obviously they were doing just fine, they were still calling me so that means there are dummies out there who are willing to give their credit card info over the phone to individuals they have no idea who or what they represent. At this point they were just trying to have me start a payment plan and to have me give them $100 bucks up front over the phone! I said no, I want to pay the amount in full, but before I do that, I will need an email from you with an invoice. She refused to do it and just kept repeating, its ok, because the service will start instantly. WTF! Ok, I tried to help her look at it a different way. I told her that this is like me calling your house and randomly asking for your credit card information. She doesnt know who I am and my response to her for being nervous, giving sensitive information over the phone is, its ok, Im a robot, give me money and your problems will go away. I told her I will not do business with anyone like this. If they wanted my money, they would have to give me more information about themselves. Finally, she gave me their business name and website! I couldnt believe it! 2 years of these *** harassing me, and I finally got their business name and website. I informed her of the harassment I have received from them and she said, dont worry I will take you off our calling list. I told her, no you won't, because I have asked them to do that for over a year! I hung up the phone and went to royaladmin.com. Now, I have heard scammers pretending to be a business that they are not, so I wanted to give these guys on this website the benefit of the doubt. I looked it over and they looked like a legit vehicle warranty service. I then noticed they were registered with the Better Business Bureau. I started combing through all the complaints on their BBB webpage and then I knew instantly these guys are the *** that have been harassing me for years. I couldnt believe I finally, after all these years, FINALLY found out who these *** where. This story is going to every webpage, every review website I can find, and last but not least, I finally get to report these *** to the FCC. Damn what a waste of my life, but if these guys can be stopped from harassing anyone else, then it is worth it. User's recommendation: if they harass you file a complaint with the FCC.
