Still waiting for a refund….2 months and counting

June 2020 I Ordered an "in stock" item. July 31 Horchow charged my credit card and said the item had shipped. August 31 I called Horchow to find out where my item was since I hadn't received it. Customer service told me that had been a mistake, my item hadn't shipped and was unavailable until October. I cancelled my order and he said I would receive a cancellation and refund notification within 2 days. Sept 4 I called Horchow because I never received the cancellation notice. Customer service told me that there was a mistake and the order hadn't been cancelled but he would cancel it that day and process my refund. Sept 11 I contacted Horchow because I never received my refund. Customer service told me that they were having a problem with their vendor and they couldn't find my item, so I had to wait an additional 2 weeks for my refund. Sept 28 I contacted Horchow because (of course) I hadn't received my refund. Customer service told me that they were having a problem with their shipping company and needed to investigate whether my item was in their warehouse and I had to wait an additional 2-3 days for them to conduct their investigation and they would get back to me. Sept 28 I contacted VISA to dispute the charge with Horchow so I will get my refund from VISA eventually. Horchow took my money, never shipped my item, and refused to give me my refund in a timely manner, while giving me the run around and changing their story each time I contacted them. They conduct business in a completely unacceptable manner. I hope anyone who is considering buying from Horchow will first read this review and learn from my experience and never consider doing business with Horchow. Save yourself the aggravation. User's recommendation: Do not do business with Horchow.
