Stay away from Wow at all costs!

Update by user Feb 06, 2020 Two months later and I still haven't received the receipt but I have an email in which they confirm that the equipment has been received so I will hang on to that if they come back for payment again. I have given up hope on an explanation of why I was charged $40 a day for the last week of service. WOW has never returned a call in all the years that I had service with them. All communication has been initiated by me. WOW is truly the worst company with the worst customer service that I have ever dealt with! Original review posted by user Jan 07, 2020 This company provides no customer service at all! I had to wait two highly dissatisfied years for my agreement to expire to disconnect. I finally made the switch last month but I am still trying to complete the disconnect with Wow. They charged me $40 a day for 4 days of service before service stopped, there are only 4 drop box locations in all of Illinois, no offices to return equipment to where you can get a receipt. I have made 14 phone calls and counting to try to confirm the return of my equipment but can not get a receipt. I have since received a bill for over $1200 for the equipment I returned. Every agent I have spoken to has had severely limited language skills. If you ask for a manger they disconnect you. They lie and tell you they are sending a receipt in the mail but it never arrives and when you call back they don't know what you are talking about, there are no notations on the account and you start all over. Even the chat function on their Facebook page responds in very poor English which provided a great screenshot for my social media campaign to warn the world about Wow.
