I have talked with the company numerous times about the refund that they owe me...to no avail. I have provided all the info they requested with same results. On the 27th of Oct, I made reservations thru Eros travel for a roundtrip reservation from phx to Jacksonville, fla. The flight was to depart on the 9th of November at 1:44 am, frontier airlines, with a stop in Chicago , departing there on United airlines, and the return was on 13th of November, with the reverse itinerary. This was supposed to cost 335.00. Eros supposedly made these reservations for me. On the 7th of November, I called airlines to check baggage restrictions and was told at that time that I did not have a reservation in my name! I contacted Eros and they said the same thing, I did not have a reservation! They then said they would make one for me now but it would cost between 700.00 and 800.00. They said the absolute cheapest I could get would be 700.00. In a panic I started calling the airlines myself, got on the computer, you name it. I finally got almost the exact reservation that I was supposed have originally, however it di cost me 200.00 more than the 1st one. So I booked that flight. Upon returning from my trip, I was checking my bank statement when I noticed a charge by Eros to my account for 169.00, which was debited to my account on the 30th of oct.! There was also a charge from united airlines for the same amount! So in effect, Eros charged me for a service that they did not render.Thats theft and fraud. United has since taken care of the refund on their part, but nothing from Eros. What is it going to take for me to get the money they owe me. I am not in a financially good position to just throw away 169.00. I would like to be able to provide good feedback about Eros Travel but how can I until they do the correct action. Thank you:
