My husband opened a credit line with them. He works for himself and went through a stretch of some of his customers dropping accounts due to their own situations like job losses, relocations, etc. Due to loss of income, he fell behind on payments to BBVA. He tried multiple times to work out an arrangement to pay back the debt. They hung up alot, they were rude and they refused any payment that wasn't the amount they wanted. They keep hitting you with fees, raising the balance even higher. Their customer service is the worst ever. When he was making on time payments, he kept getting locked out of his account every time he tried to pay online. Complaints to customer service never fixed the problem. How do they stay in business? Please people, stay away from this bank. You will end up having to get a lawyer just to deal with this awful company.
