In 2013 I went to court with Hibu / Yellow Book over a 2009 advertisement that I refused to pay for that was not correct. When I provided proof and in my opinion the judge was going to rule in my favor the attorney for Hibu ask for a continuance to speak with his client. The case was later dismissed for lack of prosecution. Hibu contacted me and said I could continue advertising with them on a cash only biases until this matter was resolved. I placed a few advertisements after that and paid for them all up front. I eventually stopped all my advertising with Hibu then in 2018 again Hubi took me to court over this same 2009 case but this time they had a fraudulent invoice dated 2016 claiming I owed them for advertising they added to the law suit. The invoice was so fake it had phone numbers in it that I no longer had and an address I had not been at in 10 years yet they persisted in sending me request for production and interrogatories they even set up a deposition and filed it with the courts but failed to tell my self or my attorney about it I found out about it on the clerks web cite . The attorney for Hube did not show up to the deposition. After being 15 minutes late the court reported called the Hubi attorney he was totally unprepared but went a head with the deposition by phone. He was asking the dumbest questions like do you remember a conversation you had with ____ in 2009 on the phone the questions went on like this for an hour. In my opinion they keep harassing people in hopes they will just pay them something to make then go away. It is now 2020 and the case is still going on they wait until the statue of limitations is about to run out and file something to keep it going. Do your self a favor stay away from Hibu
