I purchased a service protection plan from this fraudulent company years ago. The only reason I chose this company was because they said in writing that if one of my appliances broke,they, the company, would be responsible for finding a repairman and have the appliance repaired. I called them to report that my washer overfilled and I needed a repair. I was told they didn't have a repairmen in my area and that I would have to find my own repairman and pay him for the repairs, send in the paperwork to Service Protection Group and hope I would be reimbursed in about eight weeks. The only reason I chose this company was for them to be responsible for finding a repairman and fixing the appliance. I didn't want to be the middleman and find a repairman, then if the fix didn't last I would be responsible for contacting the repairman again and start all over. I ended up terminating my contract this this company. STAY AWAY-VERY DECEPTIVE COMPANY. If the company responds to this complaint and acts as if they tried to remedy the problem, don't believe it . I ended up filing a report with consumer protection which is run by the Attorney Generals Office in my state.
