Absolutely NOTHING from Sunbeam regarding the fault with the slow cooker. They acknowledged receipt of my initial complaint and that has been the only communication from them. I am ready to take this further outside of Sunbeam to inform others of my frustration at their lack of response. I have provided comments and reviews before - some even complimentary. This one will not be in that category. David User's recommendation: Consider another supplier for slow cookers/crock pots.
