The Stanford Prison Experiment was a social psychology experiment from 1971 that attempted to investigate the psychological effects of perceived power... what can happen when someone believes they have unrestrained power over others (it is fascinating...look it up!) Anyone dealing with Pathlight West... Tim Cernak is in his 20s and was hired less than two years ago by Pathlight Property Management aka OPVHHJV LLC (same company) and is owned by the same hidden investors as all of the variations of Home Partners of America (HPA...HP Borrowers...LLC). Mr. Cernak is a high school graduate who less than two years ago was slinging tacos and drinks in a Plano TX diner. Now he is perpetrating fraud, committing extortion, retaliating against those who don't bow to his demands. Our 29 page contract says the following 119 times: "...except to the extent expressly authorized by applicable laws." Yet when you cite a law that prohibits the extortion that is being committed (such as Washington RCW 59.18.240 that prohibits the demand to pay attorney fees for the property mgmt. company) they refuse to accept rent unless you waive your legal rights and force you into default... also prohibited by WA law. These people are operating outside of the laws of many states, and all four of their Real Estate agents who sign your contracts are only licensed in TX. They need to be turned into the Texas Real Estate Commission for every violation of rights in your lease.
