Stalling out while driving

After purchasing a Nissan Sentra at a used car lot . It has been stalling out while driving. It shows no codes when hooked to a diagnostic machine. And there is no mechanic that can help me. I seen that some of the 2016 models have been recalled but it says mine is not one of them. Any idea on what the issue could be.
