Stale product & horrible customer service!!!

I purchased a tiny box of Godiva milk chocolate cashews at the Chicago O'Hare airport (Hudson News) for $6... yes, super expensive, but wanted to get a little thank you for my husband who watched our kiddos while I traveled on business. They were SO STALE that my husband spit it out & couldn't even eat one! The whole box went in the trash along with my $6...! What a waste and disappointment. I live chatted with customer service and they offered my NO refund, no voucher, no compensation. Oh, but they did take all my info (lot, sku, vendor location) to help them/Godiva. So, I help them but they do not help me. I waste my time, but they say the only way they can help me further is for me to waste more of my time and fill out more information and submit/mail with postage cost and my receipt to them. What a pain! A good company would have just apologized to me and offered to mail me a refund or email a discount offer or something. I told them I would no longer buy Godiva, but I don't think they really care... Gross product, Horrible customer service. Never again. I will buy from someone better than Godiva. They gave me a stale box of product and an awful experience. I guess they don't value me as a customer.
