Stale Product and Bad customer service

I have been a loyal Godiva customer for years and years - and honestly had never gotten a bad box of chocolate until yesterday. The freshness date said June 2018 - it's March - and the chocolates had that white look when chocolate is stall and the centers of the two I tried were thick/hard and glue-like. I have eaten a lot of Godiva - this was terrible. So I reached out to their customer service thinking - no problem. There solution was for me to pay and mail it back or find a store (none close to me) and return it there. So they took an incredible loyal customer and made an enemy. There's lots of chocolate in the world - I don't need Godiva (no loss to me!) Bye Godiva - and I will make sure I spread the word.
