Staff make error customers are treated poorly

I purchased a bed with inclined bedframe in March ... I specifically asked the sales lady if the mattress as it wasn't foam would work with the inclining feature. Her comment was that it works with every mattress. Ironically this was a lie and when the installers came to put the bed together they even said it was the wrong mattress for the frame. When I sat on the mattress and inclined the head I was on a perpendicular angle to the floor my kids couldn't even sit in the bed because they will slide off. I called right away they said all they could do is have me come in and purchase a different one and I had to wait over a week to do so. Error number one Error number two I purchased a sheet set which they forgot to include in the delivery and I had to go out a third time to pick it up. Even though I offered to take it on signing the forms they said I couldn't. Error three they suggested I do financing as it was an easy process and cost nothing my new mattress would cost me 50 more a month. Financing was set up through desjardins never once did I receive a statement despite my three attempts to call so I randomly paid the amount I was told. I called to confirm this and they said there were no changes since the original amount set up so I continued to pay this amount. Three months later after the money back guarantee customer service calls to tell me they made an error and forgot to send the additional amount for financing . Conveniently after the 100 money back guarantee ... Apparently they staff made an error .... So they now want me to may 2500 much more then the 50 more a month I was told. I have tried on numerous occasions to explain this is their error on many levels however instead of doing something to rectify the situation they try to intimidate me with scare tactics lawyer letters etc. Sleep country your customer service department is useless it's an embarrassment you should be ashamed that you treat valuable customers like this. I have a family of six with many mattresses to be purchased over the years and my business will not be placed with you. Remember word of mouth is a very valuable to took it can make you or break you and I intend to spread the word about this experience at every opportunity. Simple solution if you make a mistake own up to it. Compensate your customers for your mistakes and learn from it... This is the way to make your business successful.
