I ordered a control panel for my hot tub for 449.95 as advertised on the website. Two day later I received a call telling me the part had been discontinued and I would need to pay 75.00 more for the upgraded part. I checked the website again and the same part was advertised but the price was now 524.95 (again same part number). I contacted spaguts and spoke with a representative about this and i did not want to pay the extra money. Again he insisted the part was discontinued, and I would need to pay the extra for the upgrade. Five minutes later the website was again changed to part no longer available. I then contacted the manufacturer of the part and ask if the part was still being manufactured. Here is the response I recieved, Part # 0601-22**** definitely is still a valid part #. You should be able to order this product from any spa or spa parts retailer. i.e :https://spacare.com/GeckoIN.XMControlBox0601-22****.aspx Merci/Thank you, Best regards, Jean-Phillippe Therrien Support technique interne aux ventes | Technical Support To me this would be considered price gouging. User's recommendation: I would suggest not buying from spaguts, Jetted Hot Tubs and more has better prices, and free shipping.
