Southwest Airlines Awards My Business Money To My Employees

1

Because of Covid-19, we had a conference canceled twice. This time they are refusing to reschedule it. I'm fine receiving a credit to my account, but Southwest's policy is that the tickets are non-transferrable. My assumption was that they would simply apply the credit back to my account as the original purchaser of all the tickets...NOPE, they are awarding the credits individually to each of my employees. If there were a convention to attend, I wouldn't mind as much, but they are simply screwing a business because conferences that would never get canceled under any other circumstance CANNOT even be rescheduled. Instead of helping in an horrible situation, they help stick it to my business even harder. As a business owner, Southwest has burned a bridge with me. No more flights here. User's recommendation: Do not use Southwest for Business Travel. They're a bad partner in a crisis.
