Sorry Salesman, Warrenty And Customer Service

We have purchased furniture at Mathis Brothers for over forty years and our old MB Eco mattress sagged/depressed where we lay and for some odd reason couldn't meet the measurement standard of 1 1/2" even though it was far more than that when we laid on the mattress. No warrenty there. So we went to the Midwest City OK store and the salesman wasn't very helpful. We ended up buying a mattress for $964.95 and when asked if we wanted a mattress protector we told the salesman no because we had a fully serviceable cover we had bought with the previous mattress. The mattress was delivered the next day by day laborers accordi g to their appearance and dress. One failed to wipe off their feet even though it was raining. After three nights we found that the bed was beginning to have body depressions so I emailed MB and asked what options we had since their website had a 90 day exchange (It used to be one year). Mathis Brothers red's respknse-"since you didn't buy a mattress protector or a mattress costing over $1,000 We cannot honor a warrenty and if you continue to have problems, you'll have to contact the manufacturer." As aforementioned, we have been loyal Mathis Brothers customers for over forty years. The salesman didn't tell us we would void an MB warrenty if we didn't buy the obligatory mattress cover. So we've stuck with this $964.95 mattress until we throw it in the trash. They have lost our business, they change the rules/warranties at their will and don't care how customers feel. Once they've received your money they throw you away like a bad candy wrapper!
