On March 17, 2020 my BB&;;;T Bank Account was scammed. On March 18, 2020 My daughter and I visited our personal banker, Mr. Dave Marsh ,and THOUGHT everything was straightened out. I also talked with Social Security about the change in account numbers. My Social Security money dropped as scheduled for both April and May. Much to my distress....My June check has yet to be deposited. When I called BB&T, on June 22 because the money was not in my account, the teller said there was no trace of it. YET, I received a letter that afternoon saying someone from BB&T had RETURNED MY CHECK TO SOCIAL SECURITY. There is no valid reason for this. I spoke, at length, to someone at Social Security who checked several times to see if all my checking account information was correct. She assured me that my check would be dropped in two or three business days. I STILL HAVE SEEN NO SIGN OF MY MONEY. I expect someone to be held accountable for my money having been returned to Social Security. I have spent several hours this week trying to trace my money. I use this money only to pay big bills....of which I have some expected. As of now, BB&T is low on my preferred business list.
