I took a piece of sea water hose, 4 inches long I needed 7 feed to replace both sea water intakes on my boat. Carl took the hose into the back store room, brought out what he said was the same hose and cut a 7 foot length. The next day the Technician looked at the hose and told me it was the wrong size. We went back to west marine store in Chula Vista to return it. Carl said it was not returnable because it was cut, even though he sold it as the correct size. We needed 2 5/8 he sold me 3 inch. I was also charged $32.99 a foot ????? We asked Carl for the correct size he came back again with the wrong size. Ask if he would check the San Diego store and his response was we could call ourself. Will be the last time I ever go into this store again User's recommendation: Find another marine store to shop at.
