Sold car- Lien still unpaid

I sold my 2016 Chevy Cruze to Carvana 05/22/2021 and the lien is still not paid off and I am getting late notices from the bank which is causing me ALOT of stress. I need the lien paid off immediately as I was NEVER later on this loan. The guy who took my car said it would be paid to the bank ASAP. Why is it still unpaid after two weeks
