Site Didn’t Work, No Customer Service

I signed up with Chemistry.com. From day one, it seemed to me there were technical issues with the site: missing pictures and graphics, slow downloads, server down, inaccurate push notifications, etc. I tried contacting customer care. No surprise, they do not offer you the option of speaking to a person by phone. I made contact through their online chat feature. The first agent I chatted with seemingly could not understand simple English and kept sending obviously canned, non-responsive answers. Next, I waited for an online chat agent for about ten minutes then finally got a message that none were available. (Even though the site says agents are available 24 x 7.) I sent an email, and got an immediate (perhaps automatic) reply with another response that seemed canned and didn't address my question. It said if my concern wasn't resolved to my full satisfaction, I could reopen it in 7 days. Frustrated beyond belief, I called and asked to cancel my account and obtain a refund. The agent at a call center in the Dominican Republic said he was not authorized to do that. Stay away from this worthless company.
