SIMPLE TASK COMPLETION AND CUSTOMER SERVICE

I needed a power of attorney letter to register my leased car. This was not provided, originally, by the out-of-state dealership. The DMV was shut down for awhile due to COVID-19. When it opened, it took me some time to get an appointment. When I tried to register my car, the DMV asked me for this letter. I did not have it in my packet from the dealership. That day, I was told, by the dealership, that I had to put this in as a service call. I did and was told that I would receive the letter, today, eight days later. When the letter didn't come, I called (My car will be unregistered, two days from now.). The customer service person told me that it was not sent out. I asked for a supervisor. The first supervisor, Naomi M., told me that the letter went out, yesterday, seven days, after my request. The customer service person and the supervisor could not even agree on what happened. Originally, I was told that the letter would take two days to go out and three days to get to me. I explained that it was of utmost urgency. The letter could not be emailed or texted to me, ONLY FAXED. I do not have a fax. machine! I am now at eight days, waiting for a letter that should have been provided to me, to begin with, by the dealership. Marcos G., the highest supervisor there, would not provide me with the names of the people who gave me the incorrect information or who messed up the form, to begin with. Marcos G. would not send me a letter to state that I had requested this information and it was on its way. THAT WAS ALL I WAS ASKING FOR and he REFUSED. All I got was Marcos G. repeating that it did go out. He never said that he would talk to the service people about all the errors or gave me ANY type of SINCERE apology. His apology was hollow and it seemed like he DID NOT CARE AT ALL. He had no resolutions, other than faxing. Again, I do not have a fax machine! I am all done with Hyundai! I gave one star to their customer service because ZERO was not a choice! User's recommendation: Don't use this company!
