Shopping experience was HORRIBLE
To whom it may concern, I don't believe this statement you have written. I have shopped at your store in New York, Glen Oaks. Every time my son and I have been followed throughout your store by undercover security. Every time I purchase I'm spending over $150.00 before taxes. We shop with a basket at all times set everything on the counter. We are followed all the way to the checkout counter. Also, its so bad the sales cashiers are so nervous because they don't understand what's the problem that they forget to remove the security tag or maybe its a way to stop my fourteen-year-old son and I at the door. We are told to give our bags of newly purchased items from Burlington and go through the security doors to see if anything is on our body that we didn't purchase. Next, they hold the newly purchased items in Burlington bags to see if the security doors go off. Of course, the alarms go off and my fourteen-year son and I have all eyes look at us. At this point the undercover security takes everything out the bag and unravels all the neatly folded merchandise I paid over $150.00 before taxes. Finally, the security tag is found on a Polo men shirt on the collar. Wow!! Are your sales cashiers aware security tags are placed on the collar, so they know to remove them when purchased. All of this to be said I paid for every item in the bag. My son and I never did anything wrong, but just being African Americans shopping for new items. Never received an apology in the two separate visits to the store in New York, Glen Oaks. Need to better, Ms. Hendricks
