I shipped from U.S. to Santo Domingo. I used Caribbean Cargo DC. It cost $ 183 to ship a box of food. When the box arrived they said I had to pay $ 440 dollars to pick up the box. Neither company mentioned the charges when picking up your box. Econocaribe holds your food box hostage until you pay. Two times more to pick up your box than it cost to send it. There are many other shipping companies to use. Others are $ 75 or 120 door to door and no charges when your box arrives. Don't use Econocaribe or Caribbean Cargo D.C. they both claim not to have anything to do with the other. But the contract states Econocaribe is the agent on behalf of Caribbean Cargo.
