Was just there today. Looking at a little pickup for $5500. They wouldn't even consider a lower offer even though I was giving them cash. At this point I decided not to buy it but the sales guy insisted on going through the motions to give me the out the door price. I'm glad he did, haven't had a laugh like that since I was at the improv. With title, tax and dealer prep it was just over $7400. They assured me that it was $500 for the dmv which is a lie. Checked with dmv and it is $225. Tax is $330. That would be $6055. That's $1345 profit not including what they're making on the truck itself. This is a vehicle they most likely took in on trade. And if you have any understanding how car sales work they already made money of this truck before they listed it. They are persistent though. Salesman just called as I was typing this, trying to convince me that this is the best deal for 500 miles around and he's not even making any money off it.
