Service visit/vehicle inspection

2

The vehicle that went in for service today, 7/8/20, is a 2018 Silverado. Mind you, it was purchased specifically to use as transportation for 5 life saving medical treatments a week. The truck was making several noises and were a concern, I simply wanted to get it looked over. After being there 2.5 hours without a facial covering and previously checking in with the service representative, as well as texting with Washington Chevy the day prior and stating I will not be wearing a mask due to medical reasons and them saying, ok, Im confronted by a service representative asking me to please put a mask on. I stated that due to a medical condition I am not going to be wearing one. The Service Manager, directing the representative to have me cover my face, did not like that and goes As far as violating HIPAA and asking me what my medical condition is and stating that, this is a private business can you wait outside. Hard to believe a gentleman in that position, leading an entire service department, can have such little tact and respect. I just want the vehicle looked over to make sure its good to go! Now I wonder if my truck was pushed to the side after our interaction and if I could ever return there and receive fair service. The service representatives and mechanic were all more than helpful, with just this one exception. The saying goes, it only takes ONE. SEMPER FI to the SERVICE MANAGER!!! I was kind enough not to put your name sir. You really nailed it sir, giving someone with a disability a difficult time, Id love for you to try these shoes on. User's recommendation: Good luck hopefully you don’t have to get any warranty repair through this service manager or any respect for that matter.
