Received a cold call from a man who was adamant about selling me subscriptions to 2 magazine in march... Said he would bill me, did not tell me anything regarding a 30 day cancellation policy. I forgot about the conversation and just recently started getting calls regarding the "past due" balance for items I have yet to receive. I told them I want to cancel the subscription, they said I am unable to do so and they would consider my invoice overdue.. They have persisted in calling every day and said I have to pay part of the subscription to get the phone calls to stop. I do not want the subscription, have not received one magazine and do not want harassed on a daily basis. Please advise, am I going to have to get legal advice for this unprofessional, gangster style company to leave me alone?
