Service Department – Oil Change

1

I had an oil change performed by Valdosta Toyota recently and upon driving the car a few miles the low oil pressure warning was activated. I pulled into a parking lot and checked the oil level and found "no oil level" indicated on the dip stick. I walked to the nearest Walmart and bought several quarts of oil (0-5w) and added the oil to the engine to bring the oil level into the normal range. I wonder now if they really did change the oil filter? I notified Valdosta Toyota (Valdosta, Ga) of this event and they could not have cared less. Lesson learned...don't take you car to Valdosta Toyota in Valdosta, GA. If you decide to take the chance, be sure to check what ever they touch to ensure it is done correctly as they do not check their work. Safest method would be to not take any car to Valdosta Toyota ...I know I will never visit them again. PS - they have a tendency to treat customers like they (Valdosta Toyota) is doing you a favor for servicing you car.
