Selling used vehicles they do not own
Purchased a vehicle in October for my job, here comes December and my temporary plate is about to expire and I honestly didn't think about it until a co worker pointed it out. I called soon after asking what was going on with my plates and registration because I paid for it there and when they finally got back to me it turns out that they had lost the title of the car. Oh, so I do not forget I had found a vehicle online that was at another billion auto location so I had to pay 500 dollars to bring it and if there were any problems that didn't show in the picture, then you lost 500 dollars but whatever. I ended up liking the vehicle so the 500 went towards the down payment so that was ok. SO, back to the story, I kept calling asking what was going on and they never call to update me on what's happening, last week I called asking AGAIN what's going on and the manager said they got a duplicate title should be five days, Thursday or Friday things should have been good to go. here goes Thursday....Friday...nothing. I gave them the benefit of the doubt especially since it was Christmas holiday, it is now 12/27/18 I called today and this lady I think a title clerk told me that she has no idea what was happening that she was going to call the manager and have him call me and nothing. I am thinking about taking legal action. They told me that if I kept driving my vehicle after the temp plate expired and I got a ticket it wasn't their responsibility, so I got a loaner and its *** I drive for my job and its truly terrible, they told me we are giving you a solution and if you don't take it it is on you. NO! the solution is to get me my title and give me my vehicle, I'm pissed! I don't know what to do. I am paying for a car I am not even driving.
