Bought Oman Air business class 2 tickets through BYO Jet advertised on SKYSCANNER. Payment taken by BYO. Confirmation for reservation is received as advertised from BYO and Oman Air in October. The routing is outwards LHT-Muscat-CMB, inbound CMB-Muscat- LHR. After 7 weeks BYO jet contacts stating Oman Air does not operate the connecting flight sold to us from Muscat to Colombo on out bound route and forcing 16 hours layover !! On the return flight again, flight is cancelled and delay of 9 hours plus!! When we declined, we are threatened by BYO Jet, we will loose all the payment or partially to be decided by Oman Air. Blackmailing? When called Oman Air refuses to discuss stating the dealing is between Oman Air and BYO jet and not the passenger. We are asked to contact BYO Jet. And in return BYO Jet blames Oman Air. All this is using SKYSCANNER legitimising rouge online sellers giving them a perfect online platform? The issue is still not resolved and no response from Oman Air or BYO jet.
