Bought a 2015 Grand Cherokee SRT from South Columbus GA Jeep Chrysler the second day it started a loud knocking. I called the dealer to bring it back and they insisted it was "certified" and make sure I take it to a mechanic and it will be covered. I said how I'm I suppose to get to work without a loaner, they said you have to take it first to see how long it will take to fix. well needless to say I had to catch a cab to work for 3 days before they sent me a loaner. the other Jeep mechanic said it needs a new motor. I called and said im bringing it back, they insisted it will be covered and the warranty company said they wont cover a Mopor Jeep motor but will get it from re-manufacture company called Dahmer. I researched the company and they re-manufacture motors with BAD reviews on the motors they are placing in cars to save Money. If they go with the Mopar Jeep engine there will be a $2700 difference I would have to pay, mind you I only had it for a week and haven't even paid the first note yet. I paid $12,000 down payment and I shouldn't have to come out my pocket and the dealer should!! I wont go out without a fight, Ill be contacting a Lemon Law attorney and WNBC news and expose this Warranty company and the Jeep Dealer User's recommendation: DONT BUY FROM JEEP CHYSLER OF SOUTH COLUMBUS GA.
