Screwed out of $7680.00

Original review updated by user Mar 22, 2021 This company is a fraud. My vacation was to start on March 21, 2020 to Africa, the trip cost being $7680.00. I cancelled on March 19 because the United States was shutting down travel to Europe on March 20, 2020. CSA/Global Generali did not reimburse a dime because it was an "act of God". "There are no travel restrictions in Africa as of today" says CSA. However, travel through Europe is required. "We don't reimburse you because you are worried about a virus" they went on to say. I hope this company goes out of business because of their sham insurance. "You didn't purchase a cancel-for-any-reason policy". I purchased the insurance on January 23, 2020, prior to any harbinger of the coronavirus. The person handling my claim must be mighty proud of herself for being so loyal to the company but screwing customers out of thousands of dollars. How in the world can these jerks sleep at night? User's recommendation: don't buy any product from them.
