Scamming an elderly widower

I asked to cancel my service. Was informed that because I had asked for a reduction of cost in 2020. That I had agreed verbally to stay with ADT till 2025. I do not remember agreeing to this and I signed nothing to say I would. I think they are trying to take advantage of an elderly Vietnam widower. I was told I would have to pay over 1400.to cancel service. Not paying User's recommendation: Do not get ADT.
