I was looking for my foundation breeding *** from Europe and discovered the website for British Gladiator and was taken in by his beautiful dogs. I wanted to purchase a young female (4 months old) and also a beautiful 8 month old male. His website shows a video of each dog and that is all you will ever see. He did not want to send more photos upon my request saying that the video was the most recent. I was swayed into the purchase with his verbal "my word is very good".... no contract, just his "word". The pups were flown to the US and when I picked them up, the larger male was crammed into a much smaller crate than should have been used. My male was covered in sores and over weight for his age. His diet had been that of "corn flakes" and dry morsels. The very sweet little female was in better shape... until I took her in for her vet check two days later. She was found to have a very serious heart murmur and my vet told me she should not be and could not be used for breeding as it would either kill her or the pups would have the same heart condition. I was in total shock and immediately contacted Janos and was told that she was a very breedable female and not to worry about it. After many emails and calls, nothing was ever done about a refund.... my sweet little girl died at 11 months old. I fell in love with her and am still grieving to this day. I would never have sent her back to him and all I requested was a replacement puppy as I paid a considerable sum for her. After her death...he did promise a replacement pup in one of his emails....but then stopped there. I never received anything from him. Nor did I ever hear from the man again who gave me his "word"...... As for my male pup he became very sick after his arrival to his new home. He nearly died and the vet costs were a very large amount on top of the great sum of money I paid for my boy. Luckily he did not have a heart murmur and has been a healthy boy to this day. I shutter to think of the poor bulldogs in this mans "kennel of horrors". He is breeding anything with or without problems and selling them to honest people who have trusting hearts that he is a good and decent man. But the dogs are the ones I'm truly grieving for.....my males toenails were bloody stumps when he arrived to the US....as a person can see on the videos from Mr. Virag...the dogs in his kennel only have a paved courtyard to exercise in and probably a very small one at that. There is no grassy yard to play in that one can see. The pups are sold to people that fall in love with them and then have to watch them grow weak and ill before they die with their heart problems. I hope my complaint will be read by anyone who is looking to purchase from British Gladiator Bulldogs. Please do not fall for the man's "word"....
