scam that preys on vulnerable people
1
As most of the others who have complained about this "product". I was lured in by the promise of a "free" resume. Now I'm no fool, I knew it wasn't going to be free, and I am very adept at reading the small print. $3.95 to download my resume and cover letter with two full weeks of access. Sounds like a perfectly reasonable price. Nowhere did I read that I was going to be charged $34.95 two weeks later and then another $34.95 the next month. I have a family and I have been on Employment Insurance until my new job starts and money is scarce. People are extremely vulnerable to these types of scams. I don't care that it's in the small print. This is a misleading and greedy structure . I will update this when customer service gets back to me. I demanded a full refund. If they do not comply I will take this to every social media outlet I can find. I will cost them a lot more than the $80 they ripped me off. If they deny my refund I will go through the bank and dispute the charges on legal grounds. Thanks for reading
