my mom had a government program in 2014 to help her take out the tub and put in a walk in shower so my dad who had a stroke could stay in their home longer. there was problems from the beginning and when they finally came to look at it a few years later the installer said it was faulty product in 2014. they found five cracks around the drain which I didnt even see we were showing them the other more visible crack. the installer said they should replace it . but Jamie at bathfitter in Victoria b.c. said I would have to pay 5000.00 and although its there faulty product their warranty doesn't cover the repairs . I would have to pay for the installers and all their time per hour. bathfitters is a terrible company that takes advantage of seinors. User's recommendation: do not use bathfitters they dont stand behind there work.
