Many previous comments reflect my experience as well when attempting to contact Gamin technical support. I spoke to a "technician" who said he was contracted by Gamin to offer tech support. He offered an update and charged $149. That seemed strange so I tried again to reach Garmin and when I did they disavowed any of this. I went through Visa and disputed this payment. Eventually the company refunded the money but continued to insist that they are really a Garmin contractor. I sent Garmin the invoice for them to follow up.
