Check out Fitness Deals USA on this site and the BBB. They are under the same management: JAMES ALAN I have all of our exchanged text messages to show his pattern of everything that I am saying. As I was just rereading my invoice it says: "James has made a special provision that customer can return within 60 days without any return shipping. James, Any news yet? You tell me you are the president, take control please thank you Below is a text from James Alan stating that I am responsible for return shipping. It is in black and white. We had talked about it and he had agreed. But I never noticed that it was actually stated on the invoice until today - 10-11-2018 This was on of the sticking points in the initial return negotiations. James does not seem to thoroughly read his own invoice wording nor does thoroughly read his text messages. I fulfilled every requirement but James Alan... well what can I say! He has my money (Cash) and does not live up to his own policies and promises. I called the "New" business 24Hour Fitdeals and talked with the person who answers the phone. I asked who covered the lifetime maintenance. I paid $399 extra for that provision. I gave her the invoice number from when they were Fitness Deals USA and asked when they changed names. My question about name change was ignored. But she promised to have "WECARE" contact me. I really believe that they do not want to acknowledge thaqt they were once Fitness Deals USA. From james Alan 1/25/18, 11:05 PM Ray, you have made several false, and slanderous statements. You first asked for a special provision of two warranty transfers which I agreed to. Then you asked for no charge return shipping which we never do yet I agreed to do it because I wanted to be a nice guy. At no time did we have any conversation whatsoever about outbound Shipping and you know it. Paragraph 7 of our Policy page clearly states customers are responsible for outbound and return shipping and I clearly agreed to pay return shipping only. If you falsely commit slander, our Legal Advisors will hold you fiscally responsible for all damages that result from your unacceptable and malicious actions. He talks like your best friend on the phone and introduces himself as president of the company. Just hope that you never have to deal with this guy for any type of refund. His published policies are meaningless. "24Hour Fitdeals" is the new name for "Fitness Deals USA". Fitness Deals USA had so many complaints with the BBB and others that it looks like they changed their name to escape their bad reputation. "24Hour Fitdeals " is under the same management. James Alan claims to be president. They also have an address change. The new website looks to be a little different, but the same lying policies. Both companies claim to have warehouses across the United States. I believe that James Alan and his crew are a backroom operation with contracts from various legitimate companies and he is an authorized reseller. The equipment may be good from the manufacture but James Alan has no control over shipping (which is usually late). He claims to have the best 60 day return policy in the industry on his website. But it is all a sham. He owns nothing. Once he sells the equipment, he gets his commission and cannot afford to refund money. The runaround begins. James Alan accused me and others of slander, lying, etc. and threatened me with legal action from his non-existent legal department. James Alan talked me into giving him my bank information for an ACH direct money transfer. What a mistake. Had I charged it, I may have been able to contest the charge. But James Alan had my money and there was no way he was giving I back. FTC and other agencies do not pursue him because he is one small fish in a big pond. I have written senators and the Secretary of State to no avail. Small claims court might rule in my favor but I would probably not be able to collect. Fitness Deals USA had a 1 star rating with the BBB due to so many customer complaints. Fitnessdealsusa.com has shut down and reopened under the name of 24fitdealsusa.com. “24HOUR Fitdeals” is run by the same person James Alan. Apparently, there were so many customer complaints against "fitnessdealsusa.com", that James Alan reopened under the new name of “24hourfitdeals.com”. James Alan of fitnessdealsusa.com never responded to the original BBB complaint. He took me for $3800. There were many other complaints filed with the BBB and posted on the internet. The sales, shipping and return policies posted on the new website are exactly the same (see paragraphs 6, 7 and 9). He promises (boasts about the best a 60 return policy in the industry) if you follow the procedures outlined in paragraph 7. I followed all the steps and requested a refund but James then began to accuse me of every lie that he could think of, blocked my calls, and never returned a dime. James Alan threatened me with legal action from his non-existent legal department. I have all the communication in text messages sent between us. In both businesses, James Alan claims to warehouses all over the country. I allege that James Alan has contracts with various legitimate manufacturers. James Alan uses the internet to lure potential customers in and sell them equipment. The equipment can be good but, if for some legitimate reason you request a refund the runaround starts and customers do not get any refund. I may be wrong but the advertising vs. customer appears to be wire fraud. BBB Accreditation This Business Is Not BBB Accredited Businesses are under no obligation to seek BBB accreditation, and some businesses are not accredited because they have not sought BBB accreditation. To be accredited by BBB, a business must apply for accreditation and BBB must determine that the business meets BBB accreditation standards, which include a commitment to make a good faith effort to resolve any consumer complaints. BBB Accredited Businesses must pay a fee for accreditation review/monitoring and for support of BBB services to the public. PATTERN OF COMPLAINTS The BBB opened an investigation on this firm due to the amount of inquiries we have received. According to BBB files, consumers allege not receiving the purchases they paid for. Furthermore consumers allege not being able to get a response with the details of their orders or refunds. On January 30, 2018 the BBB contacted the company in regards to our concerns about the amount and pattern of complaints we have received, unfortunately, the BBB did not receive a response.
